FREE COMIC BOOK DAY WAS AWESOME! I want to express my deepest thank you to everyone that helped make Free Comic Book 2008 the best one yet! Here is a quick rundown of the great event! The line wraps around all the way to the theater!!! Jeremy Bulloch was such a professional, he didn't take a break. He even ate his lunch and signed at the same time. Mr. Bulloch was impressed by the turnout and by the people of Omaha. Gary Friedrich said he had never had a signing at a store with such a turnout! The wait was worth it! Pat, Kathleen, Fredd, Rick, John (2), Bruce, Louis, Doug and Max you guys rocked the house all day! I hope your hands have healed up! I saw some of the sketches you guys did, HOLY COW you are all awesome! You should be half as proud of yourselves as I am of YOU! My employees, my sweet, wonderful employees. You helped bring my vision of a spectacular event to life and I thank you. I could not have done this with any other group of guys! We gave away more comics in this one day than the last two years combined! That equals a lot of smiles!! It takes a village to make a FCBD possible, a special thank you to Clay and family. Your help with the Iron Man made us invincible at the theaters! Stark has nothing on Clay! The 501st is wonderful. These men and women live, breath and sleep Star Wars. They do this for the love of it! Some of them even came in from two states away! Words of thanks are not enough. Send them a thank you anyway!!
